And then along came Purgie!  Purgie weighed in at a whopping 37 pounds when he
was born at 2:15 one cold, cold morning in October.  (They say that llamas are born
during the late morning or early afternoon, but it ain't always so.  Trust us!)

Purgie at birth, and Purgie now. We haven't weighed him since he was 20 days old,
and the vet could barely lift him then, at 69 pounds.........
