We now have two intact males:
Spellbound's Merlin, and our youngest guy, Dante's Purgatorio. Stay tuned for a decent photo of Merlin, he's a little camera-shy.
Sledge photos will be up shortly; he's
one of our geldings and
quite a bit of fun. The others are Broken Windmill Sundowner and Traveler's Highwayman,
Sunny and 'Wayman, though, aren't
camera shy, and they've been traveling the Southwestern US on the llama show
circuit. They were born less than two weeks apart in the fall of 1998 and
have been inseparable ever since! We call them 'The Bookends' since they
look so much alike. Both have very nice wool and have won ribbons for
handspinners' choice. That's Wayman in the front.
Sunny,
below and hiding in back, is the oldest by about 10 days. Sunny was at that
point our largest baby, until Purgie was born this year. Sunny weighed in
at 35 pounds at birth.
